Photo-graffs

(get it?)

A collection of photos of street art and murals around Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, taken on my lil’ travels about.

As a standing offer, if you’re the artist behind any of the pieces I’ve photographed below (or posted elsewhere, obvs), send me a sly little email/contact form dealio with your postage details and I’ll organise a wee print for ya and send a high-res pic. Anonymity guaranteed.

Art on walls… on walls?

I’ve got a trillion nice photos of interesting street art that I’d love to pop up in an exhibition. Without getting too stereotypically-arty, there’s something nice about a photograph permanently capturing a temporary, constantly changing artform - everything, from the weather to the time a piece has been up and whether or not it has been …added to, all impact the way it looks at the time it was photographed, and I just think that’s neat. If you want to help me make that happen, drop me a line, gimme a call or yeet me an email.

What I said above, about the temporary nature of pieces? The difference between the top and bottom image on this page is a matter of days. Pretty rude to Van Gogh but whatever.
