A quick note before you go-go
Don’t ghost.
If you’re getting in touch about a wedding, an event, some headshots, any idea you’ve got, I’ll do my best to reply ASAP. Juggling full-time office work, navigating pilates kicking my ass, simping for my girlfriend, seeing friends and maintaining a social and artistic life means there’s a bit on, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
If I’ve sent you some details, some ideas or a quote, it’s a-ok if you decide it’s not your jam. We may not be destined to work together, or maybe you’ve been spellbound by one of the many other gorgeous, kind and talented photographers out there. Hell yeah to that (and I can always recommend other photo pals if you’re after a diffo style).
But if I send you a quote that doesn’t gel with your budget, let me know how much dosh you’re able to play with, and I can tailor a plan to fit it. I’m also happy to do payment in chunks, and work with you to make our dreams align.
Just don’t leave me on read and disappear, because it’s just a wee bit shit after spending some time putting together an idea and a pitch for you. It’s not much effort on your part and it means I’ll be happy to see you in my inbox again one day down the track, should the stars align for us.
Ghosting also closes the door on a potentially-beautiful friendship, and nobody wants that, right?
